Metrolina Wildlife Park is Charlotte's newest zoological attraction.  Aside from a nice and varied assortment of exotic cats, bears, primates, reptiles and other wild animals, the park also features many animals that you can pet, including Llamas, Alpacas and a great white pig. The Metrolina Wildlife Park is particularly proud of its rescue efforts.  Many of their residents are rescues from unfavorable conditions including abuse, neglect, abandonment, and even confiscations.
