The Carolina Renaissance Festival and Artisan Marketplace is a medieval amusement park that is a non-stop, day-long adventure!   The 20-acre circus and 10-stage theater park features comedy acts, acrobats, musicians and singers, dancers, storytellers, magicians,  puppeteers, arts and crafts shows, performing artisans,  a fabulous birds of prey show, several jousting tournaments and royal feast.  Everyone is in costume, and if you like, you can be also -- there are plenty of costumes available for purchase.

The Festival is an annual event that runs weekends throughout most of October and November. See the event listing for ticket information.

The Carolina Renaissance Festival  is located just north of Charlotte between Concord and Huntersville on Highway 73 at Poplar Tent Road (between I-77 and I-85). Exit 25 on I-77 or exits 52 or 55 on I-85. Parking: FREE courtesy of Harris Teeter.
